Gossip about Deborah Klaassen's Secret Affair

29th September 2010, I was one of the first to use Hewlett Packard's cool app to have a sneak preview of what my life will be like as a Famous Author. I found out about HP- Be A Star because it was created by my talented ex-colleagues at Arena Quantum. And I have to say, I think mine works very well:

And now, eBuzzing.com has offered me the opportunity to write a Sponsored Post about it.

You can like the Facebook fanpage http://www.facebook.com/HPUK, but if you really like the app, why not create your own at http://www.hp.com/uk/star? If you think stardom suits you better than me, create your own video to prove it and share the bit.ly link in a comment. Why? Because I'm in a competition with other bloggers – the one who's accumulated the most bit.ly links wins a new HP Laptop to help make the video come true. So do me a favour and share your bit.ly links with me!

  1. I truly believe in the snake myth, so to me this video is
sacrilegious horrorporn sponsored by hp …
If you really want to take a bite of Britney’s pedestal,
you might be interested in some bootlegs of
other showgirls competing for the prima donna role:

  2. I'm afraid I don't quite follow, Harald...

I'm not sure which snake myth you refer to, but of course you're right the video is sponsored by HP. I was happy to cooperate since I already promoted the app before for free. So why not get some dough for it too?

I tried it because it was made by my mates and I think it's funny because the combination of the picture of me hugging my best friend and the headline "deborah klaassen's secret love affair" suggests that I'm having an affair with my best friend, and then at the end there is the picture of my boyfriend looking like he just touched an electric fence with the headline "Frederick du Preez Taylor reveals shocking truth about Deborah Klaassen's life".

Also, I think it's hilarious because it's a parody on facebook as a whole, where everybody is their own paparazzi and the real "paparazzi hell" is that nobody wants to see it.

Either way, you're more than welcome to think it's just lame. :)
At first I thought you meant this: http://bleepshit.bandcamp.com/track/god-knows-haruhi-suzumiya-cover but you're right, those are interesting stories.

  3. I was referring to the myth created by Steve Jobs: Laptops recognizable by a biblical apple with a bite out of it, included so that people do not mistake the apple for a tomato or another fruit. I like to write either on paper or on macs (Scrivener, Tinderbox). Although it choked on the size of my Miffy pictures, your friends made a fine app. Reminds me of Lemz. Does Prometheus plan any viral marketing to promote your book? Or do you?
