Camp Hulen presents... Eating Gifted Children

I'd like to ask your attention for a promising new band, Camp Hulen, and their debut album, Eating Gifted Children.

I came across the following meme on Facebook:

1 - Go to "wikipedia." Hit “random”or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:RandomThe first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to "Random quotations"or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7daysThird picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use photoshop or similar to put it all together.

5 - Post it with this text in the "caption" and TAG the friends you want to join in.

Okay, I cheated a little. The album title is only three words (it's from Lewis B. Frumkes' book title How to Raise you I.Q. by Eating Gifted Children"). But it's fun!

I'm well impressed by mine. Randomness can actually make it seem as if someone put a lot of thought into things.

Try it too and show me your result!

  1. It sounds like a good title for one of your short stories.

  2. Was this post a disappointment, mr. Bananas?

But you're right. I promised I'd start writing stories again as soon as I finished my novel, so I ought to.

Hm, a short story about eating gifted children at camp Hulen...

  3. I'm a very big fan of randomness... I often use it so that I look smarter than I am!

  4. I assume this must make cannibals incredibly smart then?

  5. @Scarlet-Blue: Me too! especially since every grain of intelligence I've got is the result of random copying-errors in the history of evolution anyway.

@Madame DeFarge: depends on who they eat... eating nincompoops might take away their intelligence as well as their hunger.
